Princess
Princess Unger, a model, high-school dropout, and wild-child celebutante, falls from a very fickle grace after her DWI puts a child in a coma. To repair her image and find self-respect, Princess pursues her first love – writing – with the aid of a Pulitzer Prize-winning, hip-hop quoting professor, who doesn't know the meaning of the word ''coddle.'' It’s him and Princess, against her apathetic family, exploitative boyfriend, and a dismissive public. Add to the list a mean-spirited press, led by snarky talk- show host Dick Upton, who pledges to make Princess the poster child for the whole “overgrown-brat-delinquent species.”

Breakdown
Princess Unger
female, 19-21, bi-racial (white & black), rich model/Kim Kardashian-esque wild child, drop-dead crazy gorgeous, formally undereducated but far from stupid, raw AND vulnerable (the former is partially a defense for the latter).
Marshal Finders
male, 30s, black, college professor/hip hop afficionado (who doesn't give a damn whether anyone views that as a contradiction), blunt, underestimates no one, cuts no one slack when it comes to his instruction. Marshal is the anti-coddle, tough-love monster that Princess needs.
Dick Upton
male, white, 50s, a snarky, Bill 'O Reilly-type talk show host, as longwinded as Dennis Miller and acid-cruel. Pledges to make an example out of Princess, as representative of the whole ''overgrown-brat-delinquent species.''
Aegis King
male, black, 40s, refined, internal. Princess' father. He's forced to own the fallout from his parental absenteeism, when Princess' therapy plan calls for her to confront him about it.
